Furniture is a considered purchase. If you are unsure about size, colour, or delivery, please contact us before paying. We are happy to help with dimensions, leg colours, and delivery quotes — especially for Scotland, the Highlands, and remote postcodes.

Made-to-order drop-leaf tables
Our oak drop-leaf tables are restored and finished to your chosen size, leg style, and colour after you order. Lead times are typically four to six weeks depending on size.
Under UK consumer law you usually have a 14-day right to cancel online purchases. For made-to-order or personalised goods, that right can end once we begin production — we will confirm your specification and start work after payment.
If you change your mind before we start work: contact us as soon as possible. If production has not begun, we will refund your payment in full.
If production has already started: we cannot accept cancellation because the table is being built to your specification. This is standard for bespoke furniture.
If something is wrong with your table
Your order is covered by the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Furniture must be as described, of satisfactory quality, and fit for purpose.
If there is a fault caused by our workmanship or restoration, contact us with photos within a reasonable time after delivery. We will repair, replace, or refund as appropriate.
Vintage oak tops may show natural grain, small marks, or signs of age — this is described on our product pages and is part of the character of restored furniture, not a fault.
Handmade tables may vary slightly in symmetry and dimensions. We publish typical size ranges on each product page.
Vintage & one-off shop items
Items in our collections are usually unique restored pieces. Each listing describes condition, dimensions, and delivery terms.
Unless a listing states otherwise, you have 14 days after delivery to cancel under distance-selling rules, provided the item is returned in the same condition. You are responsible for return carriage unless the item is faulty or not as described.
Some larger vintage pieces need a courier quote before purchase — ask us with your full postcode if delivery cost is not shown on the listing.
Delivery damage
Inspect your delivery when it arrives. If the packaging or furniture is damaged in transit, note it with the courier where possible and contact us with photos the same day. We will work with you to put it right.
How refunds are paid
Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method via Stripe. This usually takes 5–10 working days depending on your bank.
Orders placed on Etsy are subject to Etsy's buyer policies and processed through Etsy's payment system.
